Limited volume almost necessarily entails limited fantasy upside, but that may not apply to Henderson given his ability to score points in a hurry. With 4.43 speed and solid pass-catching skills, he came on strong in the middle of his rookie campaign and ultimately scored 10 TDs on 215 regular-season touches, averaging 5.1 YPC on the strength of four TD gallops of 50-plus yards. Henderson's playoff output was less encouraging, with averages of 8.8 touches and 27.3 yards from scrimmage on 20.8 snaps across four games, while Rhamondre Stevenson averaged 17.5 touches for 85.8 yards. The workload split figures to shift back in Henderson's favor, at least to some extent, but the return of his weekly ceiling won't necessarily get rid of his low floor. Stevenson remains under contract, and the coaching staff clearly trusts him despite an ugly track record of fumbles. While Henderson already has major appeal for best ball due to the likelihood of spike weeks, Stevenson's involvement remains a potential source of frustration in lineup-setting leagues. If Stevenson were to miss time or get benched, on the other hand, Henderson likely would rise to RB1 fantasy territory. His 202-pound build and injury history at Ohio State suggest Henderson may not be suited for workhorse usage long-term, but he has the necessary temperament and skillset to withstand volume as long as his durability cooperates.
