Tournament Preview
The European Tour heads to England for it's marquee event, The BMW PGA Championship. The tournament is being contested on the redesigned West Course, and the tree-lined fairways and pristine greens should make for an exciting week with many of the world's top golfers competing for the oversized purse. Many of the bunkers have been removed and the greens have been reshaped, so the West Course will bring new challenges to familiar players. That being said, course history is plentiful and will still be relevant. The early returns hint that the course may play easier, and driving accuracy and greens in regulation will be key this week to finishing strong.

Alex Noren - $9,800 (18/1)
Alex has been calmly taking care of business this season, making all his cuts this year (except for the Masters), with his highest finish being tenth at the Players Championship. He is ranked 10th in greens in regulation at 78.5 percent. Noren is only hitting slightly over 50 percent of fairways, but the 13th ranked player in the world should not be overlooked. Alex finished T8 here in 2015.
Martin Kaymer - $9,100 (28/1)
Kaymer has the stats needed to succeed at Wentworth Club. He is 21st in greens in regulation and 30th in driving accuracy this season. He hasn't missed a cut this year, finishing as high as T4 at the Honda Classic. Kaymer appears to be safe money this week, as he hasn't finished worse than T18 in his last five starts here.
Shane Lowry - $8,000 (40/1)
Lowry has been up and down this season, but his stats and course history give good reason to consider him. He is ranked 20th in driving accuracy, hitting over 66 percent of fairways and is ranked 33rd in greens in regulation. He finished T24 at Wells Fargo before missing the cut at the Players. He missed the cut at Wentworth Club last year, but prior to that he finished T6 in 2015, 2nd in 2014 and T12 in 2013.
Fabrizio Zanotti - $7,600 (80/1)
It has been an amazing start to the year for Zanotti. He has put up high finishes and got the win at Maybank back in February. He missed the cut last week at Byron Nelson, but expect a bounce-back this week, as he is ranked 16th in driving accuracy and 38th in greens in regulation. Fabrizio's course form is more than solid — he finished T7 in 2016, T16 in 2014 and T24 in 2013.
Thomas Aiken - $7,000 (80/1)
The last three starts at Wentworth Club have gone well for Thomas (T4 last year, T35 in 2015 and T7 in 2014). He is ranked 8th in greens in regulation and 33rd in driving accuracy, and has made seven of eight cuts this year with a T15 last time out at Tshwane Open. Look for him to be a factor come Sunday.
