2025 Fantasy Outlook
Olesen has now earned a PGA Tour card via his Race to Dubai standings for the second straight year. The Dane played last February through early August on the PGA Tour, but the rest of the time he spent on the DP World Tour. It's unclear the exact reason for that, but if he wants to focus heavily on both tours that will certainly limit his upside in salary cap formats. Olesen had only two top-25 finishes in 16 PGA Tour starts, but racked up five top-10s and nine top-25s in 12 DP World Tour starts. He's going to be a hard player to project, but cleary he's a quality golfer sitting inside the top-60 of the DataGolf rankings. Read Past Outlooks
Putter remains hot in Detroit
Olesen closed with a one-under 71 on Sunday at the Rocket Classic to finish 12-under and tied for 41st.
ANALYSIS
Olesen continued his heater with the putter, gaining at least 4.8 strokes on the greens for a third consecutive start this past week in Detroit. However, he ranked just 62nd among the field in SG: Approach and 78th in SG: Off-the-Tee. Olesen now turns his attention to the John Deere Classic where he tied for 61st during his TPC Deere Run debut last year.

2013
Olesen was thought to have a lot of upside roughly about a decade ago, and while he never really lived up to that, he still has turned out a nice career at age 33 with seven DP World Tour wins after his victory at the Thailand Classic in February. That being said he has not made a cut at a major since the 2019 Open Championship. Olesen ranked fourth on the DPWT last season in SG: Tee-to-Green, which certainly will play to his benefit on a little more demanding setups on the PGA Tour, but don't set exepectations too high here.
