Goalie
Pekka Rinne, NSH at ARI ($8,300): Rinne is 19-8-3 on the season with a 2.45 GAA and a .924 save percentage. This matchup is great for Rinne, as the Coyotes are averaging just 2.27 goals per game. Furthermore, in his last seven games against Arizona, Rinne has been dominant, going 7-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 save percentage. Rinne is a safe option Thursday in cash games and has good tournament upside.
Center
Sean Couturier, PHI vs NYI ($6,600): In the three contests prior to last game (which resulted in no fantasy points), Couturier had two goals and three assists. He's had success lately against the Islanders with two goals and four assists over his last three games, recording a point in each. The Islanders have allowed the fifth most fantasy points to centers over the last four weeks, as well.
Eric Staal, MIN vs BUF ($6,800): Coming off of a two-goal effort, Staal walks into a nice matchup as the 14th-highest priced center on the slate. He'll be low-owned with some of the high-priced guys getting most of the attention up top, but he could be just as productive. The Wild have scored four or more goals in three of their last four games and come in as heavy home favorites against the Sabres. Staal has had points in each of his last four games against Buffalo.
Wing
Viktor Arvidsson, NSH at ARI ($6,300): The Coyotes have allowed 13 goals to right wingers over the past four weeks. Arvidsson is averaging 3.26 shots on goal per game, so he's offering a solid floor against Arizona's second worst 3.54 team GAA.
David Backes, BOS vs FLA ($5,200): The Bruins have been burying the puck lately with 18 goals in their last four games. Backes has five goals and six assists in his last eight games. He also has goals in three of his last four games against Florida, who has allowed 31 goals and 43 assists in 39 games this season to right wingers.
Sebastian Aho, CAR at PIT ($6,400): Aho has points in each of his last five games with four goals and three assists for the Hurricanes, who are third in the league with 34.6 shots on goal per game. Aho has points in back-to-back games against the Penguins, who have allowed 31 goals and 60 assists to left wingers in 40 games this season.
Defense
Roman Josi, NSH at ARI ($5,700): Josi has seven goals and 16 assists while averaging 3.47 shots on goal per game this year. Four of his goals have come on the power play and the matchup for him is great against the Coyotes, who have allowed the fourth most fantasy points to defensemen this season with 17 goals and 66 assists in 83 games. Josi has points in five of his last six games against Arizona, as well.
Seth Jones, CBJ at COL ($5,600): Jones has points in seven of his last eight games with three goals and five assists over that span. He draws a great matchup against Colorado, which has allowed the second most fantasy points to defensemen over the last four weeks with 11 goals and 20 assists in 13 games. Jones has had a nice season with seven goals, 17 assists, and 121 shots on net.
