2025 Fantasy Outlook
Taken with the No. 87 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, Sourdif has managed a goal across four career regular-season NHL games, but the 23-year-old has spent most of his time developing in the minors. He had 16 goals, 34 points and 58 PIM in 43 regular-season outings with AHL Charlotte in 2024-25 before adding four goals and 10 points in 18 playoff outings. Sourdif’s work ethic and two-way game might be enough to earn him a bottom-six spot on Washington’s Opening Night roster, but he’s far from a lock for that role. ANALYSIS
Sourdif picked up his first multi-point effort since March 9 versus the Flames. The 24-year-old was limited to one goal over eight contests between multi-point showings. Sourdif continues to play in a middle-six role, though he's only regained a power-play role over the last week or so. He's up to 15 goals, 32 points, 103 shots on net, 91 hits, 38 blocked shots, 31 PIM and a plus-17 rating over 70 appearances as a rookie this season.
