2025 Fantasy Outlook
Foligno continues to be a middle-six regular for the Wild, and there's little reason to think his role will change in 2025-26. He posted 14 goals, 29 points, 253 hits and 75 PIM over 77 regular-season games in 2024-25, primarily playing on the third line but occasionally moving up to the second line to help the Wild manage a handful of injuries. Foligno has topped the 30-point mark just once, in his career year, when he had 42 points in 2021-22, so it's unlikely he gets back up to that level again. For fantasy managers in formats that heavily reward gritty play, Foligno has some appeal, but his scoring alone puts him on the fringe of being an option in standard leagues. Read Past Outlooks
Ready to rock
Foligno (upper body) will return to the lineup against Winnipeg on Tuesday, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Foligno will return to a third-line role after sitting out Sunday's 6-5 overtime loss to San Jose. He hasn't earned a point in nine appearances this season while generating seven shots on goal, nine blocked shots, 29 hits and 11 PIM. With Foligno good to go, Ben Jones will be a healthy scratch versus the Jets on Tuesday.

Foligno produced 10 goals and 22 points in 55 appearances last season, an improvement over his 21-point display from 2022-23 across 65 outings. In the 2023-24 campaign, he registered a career-low 1.02 shots per game, but he has never been much of a shot generator. Still, Foligno is a good source of hits after averaging just over three per contest in three straight seasons. He suited up in only eight of Minnesota's final 31 games before undergoing season-ending core muscle surgery in early April. Foligno is expected to be ready for training camp and possesses some value in deeper banger leagues, however, his deteriorating offense and questions about his health will hurt his fantasy stock entering 2024-25.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might not play against LA
Michael Russo of The Athletic reports that Foligno may not be available Monday against the Kings due to an upper-body injury.
ANALYSIS
Foligno has yet to miss a game this season. If he's unable to suit up, Brendan Gaunce might draw into the lineup, though the Wild could opt to go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen -- David Jiricek would play in that scenario.
