Alridch has been suspended 180 days by the Tennessee Athletic Commission pending an ophthalmologist's clearance, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich was finished by one of the division's top prospects Saturday in Nashville, marking the first TKO loss of her five-year professional career. She'll need to be examined and cleared of any facial/eye issues before returning to the Octagon -- at least if she wishes to do so prior to September.

Aldrich lost to Maycee Barber via TKO (knee and punches) at 3:01 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night 148 in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich came out of the gate with the perfect game plan, getting in her opponent's face and exploiting her tendency to hang her chin high after throwing kicks. This led to a knockdown for Aldrich in the first round, but Barber took control in the second frame. By coming forward and using her clinch game, Barber was ultimately able to land a hard shot that resulted in the finish. Aldrich is a solid meat-and-potatoes boxer, which should give her moments of joy in The Octagon but without much power or variety to her game, it's difficult to see her progressing beyond a certain point. She falls to 7-3 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

Aldrich will fight against Maycee Barber at UFC Nashville on Mar. 23, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich is coming off her third win in a row in the UFC promotion back in August. Even with the win streak, Barber will be a tough test for the 26-year-old, as "The Future" has yet to lose a professional fight and is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the circuit.

Aldrich defeated Polyana Viana via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-27) at UFC 227 on Saturday in Los Angeles.
ANALYSIS
Neither fighter could really get going in this fight. However, Aldrich did a better job of going to her secondary techniques. She did a good job mixing in her clinch work. She did not do very much in the clinch, but it did throw off Viana and forced her to fight going backwards. In the end, Aldrich landed plenty of hard strikes while Viana went back. It was not a very aesthetically pleasing performance, but it was enough to take the decision.

Aldrich defeated Danielle Taylor via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Sunday in St. Louis.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich came into this fight with a big reach advantage, and it showed. She was able to land strikes on the outside throughout this fight. The first two rounds were somewhat close, but Aldrich came out in the third round and turned it on. She increased her pace and landed a lot of strikes. Aldrich probably could have done that at any time. She is now 2-1 in the UFC and 6-2 overall.

Aldrich defeated Chan-Mi Jeon via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night 110 on Saturday in Auckland, New Zealand.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich looked considerably better than in her UFC debut against Juliana Lima in December. Known as a crisp, technical striker who is at her best when she is applying constant pressure, Aldrich displayed all of her strengths on Saturday against the debuting Jeon. Her ceiling is limited, but there is no reason that Aldrich cannot develop into a competent member of the UFC women's strawweight division.
