Aldrich has been suspended 180 days by the Nevada Athletic Commission pending clearance of a right hand injury, Steven Marrocco of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich tallied 58 significant strikes en route to what was ultimately a split-decision defeat, and while it's unclear at what point the hand fracture may have been suffered, the commission will still make her get it checked out. Despite losing two of her last three, Aldrich remains above .500 with a 4-3 mark with the company and will look to get back on track in the near future. If she intends to do so prior to this year's International Fight Week, however, Aldrich will need clearance from an orthopedic doctor.

Falls via split decision in Vegas

Aldrich lost to Sabina Mazo via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC 246 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich came up just short in what was hands down the best UFC bout of the year. Aldrich started quickly before allowing Mazo back into the fight. It's a crushing setback for Aldrich in a fight she had to have. Seven fights into her UFC run, Aldrich has proven to be consistently inconsistent. Her record is barely above .500 (4-3) and Aldrich has now alternated wins and losses in her past four bouts. Set to turn 28 years of age in June, Aldrich is quickly running out of time to make an impact in the 115-pound women's division.

Aldrich will face Sabina Mazo at UFC 246 at Las Vegas on Jan. 18, MMA Junkie reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich is 8-3 in professional fights, with her last victory coming at UFC Fight Night 161 in October over Lauren Mueller. She won via unanimous decision. Aldrich will improve to 5-2 in UFC bouts with a victory over Mazo in January.
Decisions Lauren Mueller

Aldrich defeated Lauren Mueller via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Tampa.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich did what she had to to emerge victorious on the heels of her knockout loss at the hands of Maycee Barber in March, but it wasn't a particularly impressive performance against a very weak opponent. Aldrich started quickly and finished strong, and that was more than enough to defeat the barely-there Mueller. Aldrich is a bit more technically sound than your average flyweight, but her lack of stopping power really limits her long term ceiling. The 27-year-old Colorado native and former Invicta alum improves to 4-2 in the UFC with Saturday's win.
Draws Lauren Mueller in Tampa

Aldrich (face) will take on Lauren Mueller in a flyweight matchup at UFC Tampa on Oct. 12, Mari Faiello of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich took a tough loss to top prospect Maycee Barber in her last fight, getting knocked out in the second round and suffering multiple facial injuries along the way. Prior to that, she had been building momentum with a three-fight winning streak. Mueller could be just the opponent the doctor ordered, as she's lost back-to-back fights and has yet to finish anyone in the UFC. Statistically, major categories like striking offense, striking defense and offensive wrestling all lie in favor of Mueller, even though Aldrich is the more accomplished flyweight fighter. Both women will enter the cage standing at 5-foot-5 with a 67-inch reach.

Alridch has been suspended 180 days by the Tennessee Athletic Commission pending an ophthalmologist's clearance, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Aldrich was finished by one of the division's top prospects Saturday in Nashville, marking the first TKO loss of her five-year professional career. She'll need to be examined and cleared of any facial/eye issues before returning to the Octagon -- at least if she wishes to do so prior to September.
