Suffers first UFC defeat
October 2, 2021
Solecki lost to Jared Gordon via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
This was the closest fight on the card according to to the Vegas odds and it played out exactly that way inside the Octagon. It seemed pretty clear that Solecki won Round 1 and Gordon Round 2, leaving the final frame as the deciding one. Solecki landed 70 total strikes compared to 83 from Gordon, but it was Solecki with four successful takedowns while Gordon connected with just one. Two of the three judges likely got it right, although Solecki by no means embarrassed himself in the setback. The defeat snaps a three-fight win streak for Solecki to begin his UFC run.

Booked for October event
June 7, 2021
Solecki will take on Jared Gordon at a UFC event scheduled for Oct. 2, reports.
Solecki has won his first three fights under the UFC banner, and he most recently defeated Jim Miller via unanimous decision at UFC on ABC 2 in April. Gordon has won back-to-back fights, with his most recent win coming against Danny Chavez via unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 19 in February. The two fighters are even in height, but Solecki carries an advantage in reach.
Easily gets past Jim Miller
April 10, 2021
Solecki defeated Jim Miller via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC on ABC 2 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
This looked like a potential "trap" fight for Solecki against a veteran opponent with a skill set similar to his own, but he passed the test with flying colors. Solecki got off to a bit of a slow start, but Miller's gas tank evaporated after the first frame and Solecki was in full control from there. Solecki was credited with 9:23 worth of control time in a fight that wasn't particularly pleasing to watch. Still, it was an easy victory for the 27-year-old to keep his record with the company perfect at 3-0. The challenge for Solecki at this point will be for him to offer a bit more on the feet than we have seen thus far. He has just one knockout win in his pro career.
Draws Jim Miller in April
March 2, 2021
Solecki will take on Jim Miller in a lightweight matchup at the UFC event scheduled for April 10, Farah Hannoun of reports.
Solecki is a perfect 3-0 to begin his UFC run, picking up a pair of first-round submissions along the way. Miller has only been submitted three times in 48 professional fights, and that last time that occurred was against now-title contender Charles Oliveira in 2018. Solecki matches up well physically with Miller, but the big factor here is that he's almost a full decade younger, with Miller currently in the twilight of his MMA career.
Submission victory in Vegas
August 22, 2020
Solecki defeated Austin Hubbard via submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:51 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Easy work. Despite going up against an opponent that appeared to be twice his size, Solecki dominated this fight no matter where it took place. He started off by beating Hubbard up on the feet, and when he got tired of that, he clamped on the rear-naked choke that ended the fight. It was a dominant showing from Solecki in a fight in which he entered as a slight (+105) underdog. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, the 26-year-old New Jersey native has now won each of his first two UFC bouts.
