Martin will take on Hannah Cifers on the Aug. 29 card in Las Vegas, MMA DNA reports.
Martin fell to Virna Jandiroba in her UFC debut last December and was throughly outmatched in the contest prior to submitting via Rear-Naked Choke in the second round. She gets another chance to prove her worth versus Cifers, who has struggled to the tune of three straight losses after beginning her UFC career 2-1-0. No-shows UFC debut
December 7, 2019
Martin lost to Virna Jandiroba via submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 1:16 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Washington D.C.
Stepping in for an injured Livinha Souza on about two weeks notice, Martin struggled in her UFC debut. She clearly dropped Round 1 before allowing Jandiroba to score an easy takedown in the early stages of Round 2. The fight was all but over from there. A longtime Invicta competitor and a product of Dana White's Contender Series, Martin isn't much of a prospect despite being just 25 years of age.
