Strong effort in decision win
June 19, 2021
Williams defeated Matthew Semelsberger via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It was a nice bounce-back effort for Williams on the heels of his unanimous decision loss to Michel Pereira last December. Khaos nearly earned a quick stoppage with a highly effective blitz attack, but Semelsberger managed to survive. Semelsberger improved slightly over the course of the final ten minutes, but Williams was in pretty firm control throughout. Khaos has a bunch of power and the ability to generate a ton of offense in a short period of time. He can get a bit lazy with his strikes at times and doesn't offer much in terms of wrestling or a ground game, but the stopping power is clearly there. Williams improves to 3-1 in his first four UFC bouts.

Facing Semelsberger in June
April 28, 2021
Williams will fight Matthew Semelsberger in a welterweight bout at UFC Fight Night on June 19, Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of USA Today report.
Williams was bested by Michel Pereira via unanimous decision in December, which came less than five weeks after his previous bout in which he knocked out Abdul Razak Alhassan 30 seconds into Round 1. Semelsberger made a statement during his UFC debut by dropping Jason Witt at 0:16 of Round 1 in mid-March.
Drops tight decision in Vegas
December 19, 2020
Williams lost to Michel Pereira via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Fighting for the second time in less than five weeks, Williams was unable to replicate the success of his 30-second knockout win over Abdul Razak Alhassan in mid-November. Pereira's unorthodox style is difficult for any opponent to handle, but it's especially difficult for a power puncher such as Williams. Khaos is always looking for that one big fight-ending shot, and those are hard to find against an opponent such as Pereira who is known for his awkward movements. This was by no means a poor performance from Williams, but he's going to need to string together some victories in order to be considered any sort of legitimate contender in what is a loaded UFC welterweight division.
Quick turnaround against Pereira
November 21, 2020
Williams will take on Michel Pereira in a welterweight matchup at a UFC event scheduled for Dec. 19, Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
Williams is fresh off a dominant performance, as he defeated Abdul Razak Alhassan via KO (punch) at 0:30 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Nov. 14. He displayed his power as he knocked out his second opponent in as many UFC fights. He'll face Pereira, who defeated Zelim Imadaev via submission (rear-naked choke) in early September. Pereira has an edge in height, but Williams has an advantage in reach.
Destroys Abdul Razak Alhassan
November 14, 2020
Williams defeated Abdul Razak Alhassan via KO (punch) at 0:30 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Khaos, indeed. There isn't a ton to break down here from a technical standpoint. Williams -- who entered as a +185 underdog -- blasted his overweight opponent with massive right hand down the middle and that was all she wrote. Referee Mark Smith was there to step in immediately but it was clear as day the fight was over. The power of Williams is truly terrifying. In his first two UFC bouts, he has knocked out Alhassan and Alex Morono (who won earlier Saturday) in a combined 57 seconds. There needs to be a congressional investigation if Khaos doesn't walk away with a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus after this one.
Opponent misses weight
November 13, 2020
Williams' opponent for Saturday's fight, Abdul Razak Alhassan, missed weight Friday, but the fight will proceed as scheduled, source reports.
Alhassan came in at 172.5 pounds, 1.5 pounds above the welterweight limit. While the fight will go forward nonetheless, Williams will be awarded 20 percent of Alhassan's purse.
