March 3, 2021
Kape will fight Matheus Nicolau at the UFC Event on March 13, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS

Drops close one in company debut
FlyweightUFC
February 6, 2021
Kape lost to Alexandre Pantoja via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Kape was visibly upset when ring announcer Bruce Buffer read the decision, but he has no one to blame for the result but himself. While both Kape and Pantoja appeared to be virtually dead even in terms of ability, it was Pantoja who won this fight with volume. Perhaps it was the result of nothing more than a competitor battling nerves in his first fight with the company, but Kape appeared to be limiting Pantoja's ability to shoot for the takedown at all costs, and that cost him in terms of aggressiveness. Kape is just 27 years old and showed he could hang with one of the division's best fighters, so the night wasn't a total loss. Kape will be back in the near future.

Kape will no longer face Alexandre Pantoja on Dec. 19 after Pantoja withdrew for an undisclosed reason, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Kape has now been scheduled to make his UFC debut twice, but both matchups were called off for various reasons. The promotion may attempt to reschedule the fight for sometime in February, but it's unclear if that will occur. Kape currently carries a three-fight winning streak from Rizin FF.
New debut scheduled
FlyweightUFC

Kape (ankle) will make his UFC debut against Alexandre Pantoja on Dec. 19, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Kape had been set to make his UFC debut against Rogerio Bontorin in August but was forced to withdraw due to an ankle injury. He's evidently now past the issue and will be looking to take his three-fight winning streak from Rizin FF to the UFC. In Pantoja, he'll face an opponent who has lost two of his last three fights, most recently losing by unanimous decision against Askar Askarov in July.
