Van announced on his personal Instagram page that he won't face Su Mudaerji at UFC 302 in Newark on June 1, Octagon Update reports.

His prior two bouts ended with decision victories, but the 22-year-old was able to earn the stoppage over Bunes after countless unanswered strikes found the target in the latter stages of Round 2. Van obviously has some talent, and his youth makes him an obvious fighter to keep an eye on moving forward in a thin flyweight division, but these slow starts are going to eventually come back to haunt him.
