Starches Cody Gibson instantly
BantamweightUFC
October 18, 2025
Qileng defeated Cody Gibson via TKO (punches) at 0:21 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Vancouver.
ANALYSIS
The definition of roster depth, Aoriqileng entered with a 3-4 (1NC) record in eight UFC bouts. He has some power, but has never beaten anyone of note and has seemingly been trending in the wrong direction for a while now. Yet, in the span of two successive right hands, Aori picked up his most impressive victory to date and has now solidified his roster spot moving forward. He would also go on to be awarded a $50,000 Performance of the night bonus for his efforts here. While it seems unlikely to result in continued success moving forward, the 32-year-old is now guaranteed another fight with the company.

Fighting Gibson in Vancouver
BantamweightUFC
September 5, 2025
Qileng will face Cody Gibson in a bantamweight bout at UFC Vancouver on Oct. 18, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Qileng last to Raul Rosas in September of 2024 and hasn't stepped into the Octagon since. Now, he'll return over a year later, looking for win number four in the UFC. His opponent Gibson fought more recently, losing to Da'Mon Blackshear back in March, but both fighters will be looking to bounce back.
Drops UFC 306 opener
BantamweightUFC
September 14, 2024
Qileng lost to Raul Rosas via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 306 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Qileng saw the final bell and stole the middle round on all three scorecards, all you can ask for as a +650 underdog, by far the largest on the entire card. Aori did fine on the feet, but predictably gave up three takedowns and spent far too much time being controlled on the mat in the first and final frames to potentially win a decision. A member of the UFC roster for more than four years now, the 31-year-old drops to 3-4 (1NC) in eight fights with the promotion. Qileng is nothing more than roster depth for a company which holds an event most every Saturday.
New fight scheduled
BantamweightUFC
July 19, 2024
Qileng is scheduled to fight Raul Rosas at UFC 306 in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sept. 14 Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Qilen will compete against Rosas in the bantamweight division. While Qileng will have a two-inch reach advantage, he is also looking to bounce back from his no contest against Daniel Marcos.
Fortunate no contest
BantamweightUFC
February 10, 2024
Qileng and Daniel Marcos fought to a no contest (accidental low blow) at 3:28 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Qileng ended up being clipped with a pair of low blows in Round 2, the last of which was too damaging to continue. The fouls ended up being a blessing in disguise for Aori considering he was being totally dominated by Marcos and almost certainly would have come up short one way or another had the fight continued. The very definition of roster depth, the 30-year-old Qileng is now 3-3 (1NC) in his first seven UFC bouts.
Set to fight Marcos
BantamweightUFC
December 7, 2023
Qileng will fight Daniel Marcos at UFC Vegas 86 on Feb. 10, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a win versus Johnny Munoz in his last time out, Qileng will now get a tough opponent in Marcos, who has yet to lose a fight in his career.
