Next fight booked for August
Hiestand will fight Da'Mon Blackshear at UFC Vegas 79 on August 12, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Hiestand will head into this fight coming off consecutive victories, with his most recent one taking place two months ago via a knockout victory over Danaa Betgerel. The 24-year-old Hiestand will have a disadvantage in both height and reach in the bout as he looks to pick up his third win in four UFC fights.

Finds late stoppage win in Vegas
Hiestand defeated Danaa Batgerel via TKO (punches) at 4:21 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was an underwhelming performance from Hiestand for much of the bout before he responded in a major way late. He got the worst of the striking exchanges between the two men nearly the entire bout, but Hiestand managed to power in for a takedown in the dying minutes, at which point Batgerel appeared to quit. He made no effort to get back to his feet and no effort to defend the countless strikes to the side of his head, of which referee Jerin Valel had finally seen enough. Hiestand's future upside is almost entirely tied to the fact he won't be 24 years of age until late April. He's won back-to-back fight on the heels of a split decision loss to Ricky Turcios in his UFC debut in August 2021.
