Nuerdanbieke is comfortable in a brawl, and when you're willing to stand and trade with your opposition, this is what can happen. Nuerdanbieke was the much better fighter in Round 1, scoring a knockdown and a takedown, in addition to plenty of control time, but he ate a couple big shots from Garcia late in the frame before absorbing two huge punches and a liver kick early in Round 2 which closed the show. Recognizing his opponent was hampered after throwing a body kick which landed, Nuerdanbieke blitzed Minner, forced him to the mat and unloaded with some vicious elbows with caused referee Mark Smith to wisely call off the bout.
