Nuerdanbieke has withdrawn from his scheduled fight against Hyder Amil, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
It is unclear why Nuerdanbieke withdrew from the fight. Without him available, Amil will fight Melsik Baghdasaryan at UFC Vegas 86. Nuerdanbieke had never withdrawn from a UFC fight before now, so this is hopefully a one-off.

Nuerdanbieke will take on Hyder Amil in a featherweight fight at UFC Vegas 86 on Feb. 10, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Nuerdanbieke lost to Steve Garcia via KO in April, a defeat that snapped his winning run at three fights, but he will look to bounce back here. A fighter with tons of experience despite being 29 years old, the Chinese owns a 39-11-0 pro record throughout his career. However, his UFC mark stands at 3-2-0.
Win streak snapped at three

Nuerdanbieke lost to Steve Garcia via KO (strikes) at 0:36 of Round 2 at UFC 287 on Saturday in Miami.
ANALYSIS
Nuerdanbieke is comfortable in a brawl, and when you're willing to stand and trade with your opposition, this is what can happen. Nuerdanbieke was the much better fighter in Round 1, scoring a knockdown and a takedown, in addition to plenty of control time, but he ate a couple big shots from Garcia late in the frame before absorbing two huge punches and a liver kick early in Round 2 which closed the show. Nuerdanbieke is extremely strong and keeps himself in great shape, but with 50 professional fights under his belt, he has less runway ahead of him than your typical soon-to-be 29-year-old. The setback snaps a three-fight winning streak for Nuerdanbieke.

Nuerdanbieke will square off against Steve Garcia on April 8, Mike Heck of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Nuerdanbieke dropped his UFC debut but has since gone on to win three straight matches. His most recent victory was a very quick one, as it took him just 67 seconds to beat Darrick Minner via TKO in November. Garcia's most fight ended similarly, as he took 92 seconds to score a TKO win over Chase Hooper in October.
Easily finishes Darrick Minner

Nuerdanbieke defeated Darrick Minner via TKO (elbows) at 1:07 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Nuerdanbieke entered as a -410 favorite (after a lot of line movement his way), so it's likely he would have emerged victorious regardless, but a leg/knee injury suffered by Minner in the early going all but locked up the win for Shayilan. Recognizing his opponent was hampered after throwing a body kick which landed, Nuerdanbieke blitzed Minner, forced him to the mat and unloaded with some vicious elbows with caused referee Mark Smith to wisely call off the bout. Still just 28 years of age, Nuerdanbieke has won three in a row since dropping his UFC debut to Josh Culibao in May 2021.
Looks to extend win streak to three

Nuerdanbieke will take on Darrick Minner in a featherweight matchup at UFC Vegas 64 on Nov. 5, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Nuerdanbieke started off his UFC run with a loss to Josh Culibao but has since collected a pair of unanimous decision over Sean Soriano and T.J. Brown. He's picked up a combined seven takedowns in those wins, while his scheduled opponent -- another wrestler -- sports just a 66 percent takedown defense. Nuerdanbieke's mark isn't any better, as he defends takedowns at a 40 percent clip, and Minner averages 2.46 takedowns per 15 minutes of fight time. Neither fighter has particularly impressive striking volume numbers, so a lot of ground time appears likely here.
