Garcia (undisclosed) will no longer fight Edson Barboza in a featherweight bout at UFC Seattle on Feb. 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Garcia's fight is no longer on the card after Barboza pulled out. He won't be getting a replacement, and so his fight has been pulled from the UFC Seattle lineup all together. Garcia will now look towards scheduling his next bout, one that could potentially push his winning streak in the promotion to six straight fights.

Garcia will face Edson Barboza in a featherweight bout at a UFC event on February 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Garcia has won a whopping five straight in the UFC, and he'll look to push his streak to six against a much more experienced fighter in Barboza. The latter is coming off a loss as well, so he'll be extra hungry to get back on the winning side of the octagon while spoiling Garcia's winning streak.

Garcia defeated Kyle Nelson via TKO (strikes) at 3:59 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was almost certainly go down as the most lucrative evening of Garcia's professional career. Not only will he walk out of the UFC Apex with his show and win bonuses, but he'll also exit with a chunk of Nelson's purse after the latter missed weight by 2.5 pounds on Friday morning. On top of that, he was the recipient of a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Steve had to fight through some hairy moments early on after he slipped and Nelson managed to take his back, but he eventually got free and destroyed Kyle with massive blows. If there's one thing we've seen with Garcia in the past two years, it's that you don't want to be on the wrong end of his power shots. The 32-year-old New Mexico native has now won five straight fights via knockout, including three in Round 1. He deserves a top-15 opponent his next time out.

ANALYSIS
Nelson missed the featherweight weight limit by 2.5 pounds, resulting in his fight against Garcia being at catchweight. Either way, he will look to continue his rampant streak of wins, all of them KO/TKOs.

Fourth straight knockout win

Garcia defeated Seungwoo Choi via TKO (punches) at 1:36 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
You would think Garcia's recent history would discourage opponents from getting into a slugfest with him, but nope, Choi was more than willing. The two men began winging bombs at each other in the center of the Octagon about a minute in, and not surprisingly, Garcia got the better of it. The finish would go on to earn him one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening. It's perfectly fair to wonder how Steve is going to generate offense if these power shots aren't landing, but that hasn't been an issue the past year-plus. The 32-year-old Jackson/Wink product has earned four straight knockout wins, and is 5-1 in his past six, with each victory coming via KO. Garcia is going to get a bump up in competition his next time out. He deserves it.
