David Onama

ANALYSIS
Onama was looking to pick up his fourth win in his last five trips to the Octagon, but injury will keep him from the opportunity. The UFC will apparently search for a new opponent for Alexander in the meantime.

ANALYSIS
Onama is coming off an upset of Gabriel Santos back in June, and he'll look to keep the momentum going in what will be his sixth UFC bout. He'll look to string together consecutive victories for the first time in his UFC career and his opponent Alexander is also coming off a victory, besting Steven Peterson via unanimous decision.

ANALYSIS
It's not how you start, it's how you finish. Onama had his moments in Round 1, but it was Santos who was the aggressor and nearly ended the fight with a pair of deep submission attempts. The gap appeared to be closing late in Round 2, at which point Onama blasted a clearly exhausted Santos with an uppercut that found its mark, followed by a follow-up shot which knocked the Brazilian out cold. Onama is a roller coaster, even on a round-by-round basis, but it's impossible to argue with the results thus far. He's 3-1 in his past four bouts, with all three wins coming via stoppage. He'll also take home a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts here.

ANALYSIS
Onama, who was most recently defeated by Nate Landwehr in August, will face off against Gabriel Santos in June. The 28-year-old fighter, who currently holds a record of 2-2 in the UFC, will look to bounce back against Santos.

ANALYSIS
It's a tough break for Onama, whose opponent for UFC Vegas 67, Jarno Errens, was also dropped prior to their fight. A replacement fighter is reportedly being searched for.
