Nathan Fletcher

England
Loser in back-to-back fights
Fletcher lost to Rinya Nakamura via TKO (body kick, strikes) at 1:02 of Round 1 at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Fletcher was never able to get going in this one as roughly a (+295) betting underdog, as he managed just three total strikes before succumbing to the finish. A kick to his ribs did damage early, but a follow-up liver shot from Nakamura is what truly changed the tide. That sent Fletcher crumbling, and it only took a few follow-up shots before referee Kerry Hatley was forced to intervene. The loss is Fletcher's second in a row following his September 2024 debut victory over Zygimantas Ramaska.

The two fighters have a lot to prove which should provide an entertaining bout.

Drops split decision in London
Fletcher lost to Caolan Loughran via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
Fletcher was not happy after the result was read, and he has a gripe. He started slowly before finding his range and dominating the middle frame. Fletcher then gave up three takedowns and 3:09 worth of control time in Round 3, but he was eventually able to work his way back to his feet before unloading on Loughran in the final 90 seconds. It wasn't enough in the eyes of two of the three judges. The 27-year-old Brit and former Cage Warriors standout drops to 1-1 in his first two UFC bouts.

Second UFC bout scheduled
Fletcher will take on Caolan Loughran at UFC London on March 22, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Fletcher won his UFC debut last September when he defeated Zygimantas Ramaska via second-round submission. He now draws Loughran, who is 1-2 with the company following a unanimous decision loss to Jake Hadley in July.

Stoppage win in UFC debut
Fletcher defeated Zygimantas Ramaska via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 1:14 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
These two were originally scheduled to fight two weeks ago, at which point Fletcher withdrew due to an illness. They finally got it on here, and the Brit left little doubt who the better man was. Fletcher had some hairy moments on the feet early on, but dominated the second he decided to lean on his grappling. He landed 4-of-6 takedown attempts, in addition to the arm-triangle choke which closed the show. It was certainly a strong enough effort to lead you to believe the UFC will run Fletcher back out there at some point.
