Fletcher was never able to get going in this one as roughly a (+295) betting underdog, as he managed just three total strikes before succumbing to the finish. Fletcher had some hairy moments on the feet early on, but dominated the second he decided to lean on his grappling. He landed 4-of-6 takedown attempts, in addition to the arm-triangle choke which closed the show. It was certainly a strong enough effort to lead you to believe the UFC will run Fletcher back out there at some point.
