Trocoli was initially supposed to face Ikram Aliskerov at the event, but following the withdrawal of Khamzat Chimaev, Aliskerov was promoted to a main-event matchup against Robert Whittaker. Just days before the scheduled fight, however, another withdrawal on the card will allow Trocoli to compete after all. He'll enter as a sizable underdog however, checking in at (+410) or greater depending on the book.

Now, he'll draw a 15-1 fighter on less than two weeks' notice in Aliskerov, who happens to be undefeated with the company. Trocoli will hold five-inch height and six-inch reach advantages, however.
