Drops decision after weight miss
FlyweightUFC
February 7, 2026
Moura lost to Cong Wang via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Moura won Round 2 regardless of what judge Tony Weeks had to say about the matter, but she also clearly lost Rounds 1 and 3. Moura's strong opening frame was negated by a Wang knockdown. With the fight in the balance in the final five minutes, Moura attempted six takedowns, failing on all of them. She exhausted herself in the process, allowing Wang to land a ton of damage in the closing minutes to seal the deal. To make matters worse, Moura also missed weight Friday morning, although that was partially negated by the fact Wang did as well. The Brazilian falls to 3-2 in her first five UFC bouts.

Catchweight fight for UFC Vegas 113
FlyweightUFC
February 6, 2026
Moura is scheduled to compete against Cong Wang in a catchweight fight at UFC Vegas 113 on Saturday, MMA Junkie reports.
ANALYSIS
Moura missed the UFC's flyweight limit by 1.5 pounds. But because Wang did the same, their fight will go as planned, with neither woman bonus-eligible Saturday. Even though Wang's 2025 includes a 2-0 record, Moura's is not too shabby, strongly backed up by a win over former UFC Flyweight Championship challenger Lauren Murphy.

Moura is scheduled to compete against Cong Wang in a flyweight fight at UFC Vegas 113 on Feb. 7, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Moura logged one fight in 2025, and she defeated former UFC title challenger Lauren Murphy via decision in Nashville. Moura's next opponent went 2-0 this year, meaning both flyweights will enter their upcoming fight with positive momentum to build on.
Takes decision from Lauren Murphy
FlyweightUFC
July 12, 2025
Moura defeated Lauren Murphy via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Nashville.
ANALYSIS
Moura did enough to win this fight over the course of the first two rounds, but she never looked the part of the -650 favorite she entered as. Toss in the fact she was facing a 41-year-old opponent that hadn't fought since January 2023, and you have a middling performance despite the victory. Moura used her speed and athleticism edge to pick Murphy apart on the feet. She appeared to be cruising to a sweep on the scorecards before Murphy was able nearly pull off a late miracle with a guillotine choke. Once Moura escaped, the result wasn't in doubt. The 31-year-old Brazilian has won three of her first four UFC fights.

Moura will face off against Lauren Murphy at a UFC event on July 12, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Moura will face off against a 41-year-old Murphy, fresh off a 2.5-year absence from the UFC, this July. The 31-year-old Brazilian, who is 2-1 during her time with the UFC, will look to prevail in a battle of relative youth versus experience.

Moura defeated Veronica Hardy via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 309 on Saturday in New York City.
ANALYSIS
Moura was forced to move up to flyweight after missing weight for her previous two strawweight bouts. Oddly enough, she dominated Hardy thanks to her size and strength advantage. Moura mixed in a few notable blows here and there, but it was mainly her three takedowns for 4:13 worth of control time which won her the fight. She limited Hardy's space for 10 minutes then coasted in Round 3 when it was clear she would be winning a decision. How effective Moura will be at flyweight over the long term remains to be seen, but it's clear she should have been fighting at 125 pounds all along.
