Up against hometown lightweight
Prado will fight Daniel Zellhuber in a lightweight bout at UFC Mexico on Feb. 24, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Zellhuber, a Mexican-born lightweight, will fight in his birth country, giving Prado a hometown disadvantage for his next bout. However, that will not stop him from trying to build a winning streak, which is possible after his mid-2023 win over Ottman Azaitar.

Prado defeated Ottman Azaitar via TKO (punches) at 4:05 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 49 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Prado turned just 21 years of age this past June, so all that matters at this point is that he remains healthy and gets consistent reps in the Octagon, but it's nice to see him emerge with his first UFC victory. Prado dropped a unanimous decision to Jamie Mullarkey in his company debut this past February, but rebounded to stop Azaitar here and earn a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. It began with a short elbow that floored Ottman, followed by countless unanswered strikes which forced referee Chris Tognoni to step in. There are going to be some bumps along the way considering how young Prado is, but this sky is theoretically the limit given what we have already seen from him.
