Will face Brad Tavares
Park is scheduled to compete against Brad Tavares in a middleweight fight at UFC Vegas 94 on July 20, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Park is coming off a loss via split decision against Andre Muniz during his last week, snapping his four-game winning streak. His rival, Tavares, has been lost five of his last eight battles. We could see the 32-year old find success during this encounter.

Winning streak snapped at four
Park lost to Andre Muniz via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was your classic example of damage v. control time. It's very hard, if not impossible, to win a 15-minute decision when you give up 11 takedowns, good for 9:34 worth of control time, as Park did here. That said, he was the one constantly working to improve his position, and there's zero doubt he landed the more damaging blows when he was able to improve. It's just such a bad visual for the judges spending that much time on your back. Park is going to be disappointed with the result, but he entered having won four straight, and his roster spot is plenty secure. We'll see the 32-year-old back in action at some point in 2024.

Finds range after slow start
Park defeated Albert Duraev via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:45 of Round 2 at UFC on ESPN 49 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Park is so much fun to watch. He works primarily behind the jab, as he did here, until the point Duraev gassed out, at which he pounced. Park offered nothing for the first four minutes before jumping on a guillotine that nearly closed the show in the opening seconds of Round 1. He squeezed hard for the stoppage but couldn't get. Somehow he was the man with more energy when Round 2 rolled around, and he eventually battered Duraev on the feet before sinking in a rear-naked choke which forced Duraev to tap. Park is tough as heck and deceptively athletic for a big man. He's won seven of eight dating back to December 2019 and is due a bump up in competition his next time out.

Scheduled to fight Duraev
Park is scheduled to fight Albert Duraev in a middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 77 on July 15, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Duraev is scheduled to be Park's second opponent in 2023. The first, Denis Tiuliulin, quickly tapped out to Park earlier this year at UFC Vegas 68. He is 6-2 in the UFC with three separate three-fight winning streaks. A win over Duraev would extend his win streak to the longest it has ever been.
