Released from the UFC in 2020, Naudiev rejoined the company last October and took a unanimous decision from Bruno Silva. He had zero chance of winning this fight, most of which was his own doing. Naurdiev was docked two points by Lukasz Bosacki in Round 2 for a vicious illegal knee to the face. He should have been disqualified on the spot given how badly Park was damaged, but the fight was allowed to continue, and Naurdiev offered zero resistance afterwards despite the fact his opponent was severely compromised. Still just 28 years of age, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Ismail made legitimate improvements during his seven fights away from the company.
