Naurdiev will take on Ryan Loder in a welterweight bout at UFC Qatar on Nov. 22, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Naurdiev is off to a rocky start in his UFC career, sitting at 3-3 in the promotion. His last time in the Octagon, he was bested by Jun Yong Park via unanimous decision back in June. He'll look for win No. 4 against an opponent in Loder who is five years older but much less experienced in the UFC, with just two fights in the promotion (and a 1-1 record) to his name.

Drops lopsided decision in Baku
WelterweightUFC
June 21, 2025
Naurdiev lost to Jun Yong Park via unanimous decision (26-29, 26-29, 25-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Baku, Azerbaijan.
ANALYSIS
Released from the UFC in 2020, Naudiev rejoined the company last October and took a unanimous decision from Bruno Silva. He had zero chance of winning this fight, most of which was his own doing. Naurdiev was docked two points by Lukasz Bosacki in Round 2 for a vicious illegal knee to the face. He should have been disqualified on the spot given how badly Park was damaged, but the fight was allowed to continue, and Naurdiev offered zero resistance afterwards despite the fact his opponent was severely compromised. It was a bad look all the way around. Naurdiev figures to have very little wiggle room with the company considering he's already been released once.

Naurdiev will take on JunYong Park in a middleweight bout at UFC Qatar on May 17, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Naurdiev is coming off two straight professional victories, most recently besting Bruno Silva via unanimous decision back in October. That was his first UFC fight since 2020, and it pushed his record to 3-2 in the promotion. His opponent Park, meanwhile, also won in his last fight - also in October of 2024 - to push his record to 8-3 in the UFC.
Wins first UFC bout since 2020
WelterweightUFC
October 26, 2024
Naurdiev defeated Bruno Silva via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC 308 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
Returning to the UFC for the first time since February 2020, Naurdiev was given a cake-walk matchup against a fading veteran in Silva and took full advantage. He remained aggressive on the feet, landing just enough blows to consistently get to his grappling game. That resulted in three successful takedowns for 5:51 worth of control time, but more importantly, eliminated Silva's chances of getting off any power shots of his own. Still just 28 years of age, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Ismail made legitimate improvements during his seven fights away from the company.
