Added to UFC 280
July 23, 2022
Gamrot will take on Beneil Dariush at UFC 280 on Oct. 22.
Gamrot is coming off pulling the biggest upset of his career after he defeated Arman Tsarukyan via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night in June. He is riding a four-fight winning streak since dropping his UFC debut to Guram Kutateladze in October of 2020. His opponent, Dariush, had to withdraw from his previously scheduled bout versus Islam Makhachev in February due to a fractured fibula.

Pulls upset in main event
June 26, 2022
Gamrot defeated Arman Tsarukyan via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 48-47) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It's the biggest victory of Gamrot's career. It came in a main event spot as a +200 underdog, and it was made all the most impressive by the fact Gamrot picked up the pace considerably over the course of the final three rounds following a slow start. Of course, whether or not he deserved the win is open to interpretation. All told, this was the high-level fight everyone was hoping for. Gamrot struggled a tad on the feet early on before leaning on his wrestling the rest of the way. He landed six total takedowns on 21 attempts, including two each in the final three frames. He didn't do a ton with his positional advantage, but it was enough to limit Tsarukyan's ability to generate additional offense. The bottom line is that if these guys fought ten times, each would likely win five. The tight contest ended up earning both men $50,000 Fight of the Night bonuses. Gamrot dropped a split decision to the extremely underrated Guram Kutateladze in his UFC debut in October 2020. He's won four straight since. He's a legitimate top-10 contender.
Set to headline UFC Vegas 57
May 26, 2022
Gamrot's scheduled lightweight matchup against Arman Tsarukyan has been elevated to the main event of the card set to take place on June 25, Marcel Dorff of reports.
The 31-year-old enters the event boasting a 20-1-0 record in UFC action. Gamrot and Tsarukyan's bout has been upgraded to a five-round event where both fighters will look to protect their impressive records.
Added to June 25 card
May 5, 2022
Gamrot will square off against Arman Tsarukyan on the June 25 card, reports.
After a split-decision loss in his first career UFC bout, Gamrot hasn't allowed any of his last three to make it to that point, earning a KO/TKO in two and a submission in the other to move his record to 3-1-0 since joining the promotion and 20-1-0 overall. Next up is another up-and-comer in Tsarukyan, who has claimed victory in five straight fights. Gamrot stands three inches taller than his opponent but will still yield two inches of reach.
Third straight stoppage win
December 18, 2021
Gamrot defeated Diego Ferreira via TKO (verbal submission) at 3:26 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Ferreira's past couple opponents had a ton of success taking him to the mat, and Gamrot continued that trend to the tune of four takedowns on seven attempts. He managed just 1:05 worth of control time despite his success in that area, but Gamrot's wrestling game set the tone of the entire fight, which ended when Ferreira verbally submitted and waved his hand at referee Jason Herzog following a knee to the side. The sample size is small, but Gamrot -- who is four fights deep into his UFC run -- has won three straight, all via stoppage. Gamrot has an impressive all-around skill set and looks like a real threat at 155 pounds. He is clearly a fighter to keep an eye on as the calendar pushes towards 2022.
Facing Diego Ferreira
November 9, 2021
Gamrot will fight Diego Ferreira in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night on Dec. 18, Farah Hannoun of reports.
Gamrot suffered his first professional defeat in his UFC debut in October 2020, but he's 2-0 so far this year with victories over Scott Holtzman and Jeremy Stephens. Ferreira is trending in the other direction with losses to Beneil Dariush and Gregor Gillespie in 2021, which brought an end to a six-bout win streak.
