Charriere is scheduled to face Seungwoo Choi in a featherweight bout at the UFC's April 6 event in Las Vegas, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Charriere made his UFC debut in September last year and made quick work of Manolo Zecchini, but Choi might represent a tougher challenge. Choi recently snapped a three-fight losing streak in August, when he clinched his first victory since 2021 after defeating Jarno Errens via unanimous decision.

Charriere defeated Manolo Zecchini via KO (strikes) at 3:51 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Paris.

Entering as a -375 favorite in a bout between a pair of debuting fighters, Charriere put on quite a show. Instead of constantly going headhunting like we see from many competitors, Morgan invested in body work, and it ended up putting his opponent away. He was able to crack Zecchini with a pair of kicks right to the gut, the second of which led to the sequence of events which ended the fight. It would also go on to earn him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Charriere will be 28 years of age in late-October and has been up and down on the regional scene, so it's fair to wonder just how high his ceiling is, but this was a great start to his UFC run.
