Remains perfect in UFC
Orolbai defeated Elves Brener via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27) at UFC 301 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
ANALYSIS
Outside of a foolish takedown attempt to stop a takedown in Round 3 which ended up costing him a point, Orolbai was in pretty firm control of this fight throughout. He leaned on his wrestling early, scoring a pair of takedowns in each of the first two rounds. He gassed out pretty hard in the final frame, but managed to land a knockdown in the latter stages of the round, which may have very well saved him from a draw given the point deduction earlier in the frame. Orolbai won his UFC debut on four days' notice over Uros Medic in November before putting forth another strong effort here. He probably deserves a bump up in competition his next time out.

Set to face Brener
Orolbai is set to fight Elves Brener in a lightweight bout at UFC 301 on May 4, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Orolbai defeated Uros Medic via submission in November last year, and what's perhaps most impressive of that win was that he did it on four days' notice. That win over Medic was his debut at the UFC level, and the fight against Brener is an excellent option for him to continue making a name for himself at the UFC level.

Wins debut on four days' notice
Orolbai defeated Uros Medic via submission (neck crank) at 4:12 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Easy work for Orolbai despite accepting this fight -- his UFC debut -- exactly four days ago. With UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber and Slava Borshchev (who fought just last week) representing Team Alpha Male in his corner, the 25-year-old Orolbai quickly recognized a hole in Medic's takedown defense and exploited it. He ended up connecting on 7-of-10 attempts, good for 7:26 worth of control time. The neck crank that closed the show late in Round 2 appeared to be more the result of Medic being dead tired as opposed to under duress. Props to Orolbai for a strong showing in his maiden voyage with the company.

UFC debut on short notice
Orolbai (undisclosed) will compete against Uros Medic in a welterweight fight Uros Medic at UFC Vegas 82 on Nov. 18, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
The UFC quickly signed Orolbai after realizing a replacement was needed for Jonny Parsons, who was scheduled to fight Medic before withdrawing. Not much is known about Orolbai, but some facts about his career include an 11-1-1 record with 10 finishes and three of the wins logged with the LFA.
