Fiore lost to Mateusz Rebecki via unanimous decision (26-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Stepping in on short notice for Omar Morales (undisclosed), Fiore didn't show much in his company debut. He absorbed far too much damage from Rebecki on the feet early on, limiting his ability to get into any sort of rhythm offensively. Fiore appeared as if he had a chance to gain some momentum in Round 2 with Rebecki clearly tiring, but a few well-timed takedowns quickly silenced Fiore's comeback attempt. Nick figures to get another opportunity with the company due to his willingness to "save" this fight, but little should be expected.
