ANALYSIS
It took exactly one fight for our first controversial decision of the evening. There wasn't much going on either way here, so it's hard to get too worked up about the result, but dos Santos clearly won Round 1, and it sure appeared as if she did enough in Round 3 to earn the call. All told, she closed with a 80-48 edge in terms of total strikes landed. The 28-year-old Brazilian has been up and down prior to her arrival with the company, losing on Dana White's Contender Series, while picking up victories in her two prior bouts with Invicta, both earlier this year. Dos Santos will get another opportunity with the UFC at some point in 2024.
