UFC offer rescinded

Trabelsi will no longer compete at UFC 280, as the UFC has been forced to rescind its offer due to an issue with Trabelsi's previous promoter, Brett Okamoto of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trabelsi is a high-profile, 29-year-old heavyweight prospect who has trained with heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, and while all roads seem to point to the UFC one day, there are multiple obstacles in the way. Trabelsi is currently under contract with the French promotion Ares FC, and while he apparently had a clause in his contract that would allow him to be released if a UFC offer were on the table, Ares President Fernand Lopez is fighting this in court based on the accusation Trabelsi hasn't acted in good faith. Another complication is that Lopez is also Trabelsi's former trainer and manager. Lopez seems willing to drag this battle out in court, even if it costs Trabelsi several of the prime years of his career. It's a messy situation without any immediate resolution in sight.
