It certainly would have been nice to see Alencar land a bit more damage from top position, but it was a dominant performance nonetheless. Entering as a small +130 underdog, Alencar was routed in her second UFC appearance. Giving up six inches in height to Luciano, Talita was unable to get in tight with any sort of consistency. She was picked apart on the feet and managed to land just 1-of-10 takedown attempts. Set to turn 34 years of age this coming October and with all of seven professional fights under her belt, Alencar is a massive long shot to have any sustained success with the company.
