ANALYSIS
Mitchell, who was defeated in his UFC debut against Cameron Saaiman in July, will look to bounce back from a rough start to his UFC career. The 33-year-old American will matchup up with one of the youngest fighters in the UFC this September while he looks to right ship.

Not competitive in UFC debut
Mitchell lost to Cameron Saaiman via TKO (punches) at 3:10 of Round 1 at UFC 290 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Making his UFC debut in a fight he accepted in mid-June, Mitchell showed little as a +450 underdog. He actually scored an immediate takedown, but found himself in a guillotine choke in the process. He managed to escape, but his gas tank evaporated as a result, allowing Saaiman to eventually flatten him out and rain down countless unanswered punches to the side of the head which forced referee Mark Smith to step in. Mitchell will be 34 years of age in late-December. He entered having won 11 in a row on the regional circuit, all via stoppage, but there's little reason to expect him to have much success at the highest level.
