Fighting at UFC Vegas 73
Leonardo will fight Natalia Silva at UFC Vegas 73 on May 20, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
After dropping her first two UFC bouts with losses in Round 2, Leonardo came out of her third victorious with a unanimous decision over Mandy Bohm. She will now try to carry that momentum into her fight with Silva, who has won her first two fights with the company.

Secures first UFC victory
Leonardo defeated Mandy Bohm via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
A loser in each of her first two UFC bouts and almost certainly looking at a release if she didn't come away with a victory here, Leonardo put forth a competent performance headlined by some improved grappling. Leonardo struggled with the length and technical skill of Bohm on the feet, so she countered that by fighting in tight and firing off a half-dozen takedown attempts, two of which connected and produced 7:06 worth of control time. Bohm wasn't competitive on the mat, allowing Victoria to coast to the decision. It's far more likely this performance was an aberration as opposed to a sign of things to come, but it will ensure Leonardo gets another shot with the UFC.

Second straight knockout loss
Leonardo lost to Melissa Gatto via TKO (doctor's stoppage) at 5:00 of Round 2 at UFC 265 on Saturday in Houston.
ANALYSIS
Leonardo earned her UFC opportunity with a TKO win over Chelsea Hackett on Dana White's Contender Series last November, but she has since gone on to be knocked out in each of her first two UFC bouts in a span of less than six months. Displaying below-average cardio and a lack of technical awareness, Leonardo found herself on the defensive for most of the bout. She informed her corner at the end of Round 2 that her right arm was "not working." She said she could continue, by the doctor came in and looked at it and immediately said it was broken and the fight was called off. Leonardo appeared well on her way to dropping a decision anyway, and there is no guarantee she gets a third chance with the company given her struggles her first two times out.

Second UFC fight set
Leonardo will take on Melissa Gatto in a flyweight bout at UFC 265 on August 7, Raphael Marinho of Combate.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Leonardo will be looking to bounce back after dropping her UFC debut to Manon Fiorot back in January. She will be taking on a fighter who will be making her UFC debut two years later than originally planned. Gatto has a 6-0-2 professional record, compared to Leonardo's 8-3-0 mark.

Outclassed in UFC debut
Leonardo lost to Manon Fiorot via TKO (strikes) at 4:08 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Island 8 on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Leonardo was all out of sorts early on, as the difference in the striking between the two was easily identified. While her toughness can't be denied, she struggled to return any effective offense with consistency. The accumulation of damage finally reached at tipping point in the final minutes of Round 2, as she ate a huge head kick that was followed by another series of shots. The Contender Series product falls to 0-1 in the UFC.
