Zilisch won the pole for the XPEL 225 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Circuit of the Americas Friday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 93.012 mph.

ANALYSIS
The talented prospect built on what was a good practice session and really shined in group qualifying. Zilisch drove the No. 7 Chevy truck to a fantastic lap and beat out Corey Heim to claim the pole position Friday at COTA. It was his first career pole in his truck series debut. Zilisch will be a top contender to win Saturday at Circuit of the Americas.
