William Sawalich

TRICON Garage
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Sawalich is one of the interesting, up-and-coming talents in NASCAR. At just 16-years-old last season, he marched to four victories in the ARCA Menards Series and caught a lot of attention. Sawalich also managed six starts in the Craftsman Truck Series for TRICON Garage, earning a very impressive three Top-10 finishes in those limited efforts. As the old saying goes "he's the goods" and a very raw, young talent. TRICON has given him another part-time opportunity to race in this division of NASCAR in 2024. Sawalich will take on nine events in the upcoming season and get more opportunities to learn and impress us with his driving. He'll be on the entry lists for less than half the events this season, but he's sure to perform when he suits up. Read Past Outlooks
Six races for TRICON Garage
Craftsman Truck Series
February 7, 2023
Sawalich will drive the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 2023 for TRICON Garage.
ANALYSIS
Sawalich also signed a multi-year agreement with Joe Gibbs Racing back in December to drive for the team in the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East. Sawalich has 20 races on the ARCA platform in 2023 beginning at Phoenix Raceway on March 10. This 16-year-old phenom is coming off an impressive 2022 season that saw him score a combined 15 victories across super late models, pro late models, and late model stock cars. Sawalich's Truck Series races will be Martinsville (April 14), Mid-Ohio (July 8), Richmond (July 29), Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (Aug. 11), Milwaukee Mile (Aug. 27), and Bristol (Sept. 14). He is on the path to one day go full-time for TRICON Garage in the Truck Series once he reaches 18-years-old and then eventually be fed into the JGR pipeline in the Xfinity Series, and maybe one day to the Cup Series.
