Disappoints in 1-1 draw Sunday
F/MManchester United
August 22, 2021
Martial took one shot (one on target) and drew one foul in the 1-1 draw with Southampton on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
After missing the last two months of the season last year, Martial has yet to hit a stride. The forward looked as poor as he could in the draw and it rewarded him with a spot on the bench half-way through the second-half. Martial could not hold the ball for the rest of his team to break up the pitch and he had a single shot in his 59 minutes of play. He is rapidly losing his place in the squad and he cannot be relied on until he regains focus, confidence and form.
