After a disappointing first season in MLS in 2023 where Vanzeir totaled just three goal involvements, he showed why the Red Bulls handed him a Designated Player contract, making 37 appearances which resulted in 16 goal involvements. While he only scored four regular season goals, the forward came up clutch with two goals and an assist in the playoffs with his nine regular season assists tying for the sixth most in MLS. For fantasy purposes, Vanzeir is fairly reliant on goal involvements as he isn't a prolific shot taker and also has no role over dead balls for the Red Bulls. That said, he should continue as a regular starter for the club, partnering Lewis Morgan in attack.
