Martin Terrier

ANALYSIS
Terrier passed his late fitness assessment after coach Carles Martinez Novell confirmed he had trained well during the week, recovering enough to earn a spot in the squad despite having failed a late fitness test ahead of the recent match against Union Berlin. The forward's encouraging training week offered a path back into the squad following a difficult start to the campaign that had already cost him matches against Elversberg and in the DFB-Pokal against Wehen. His situation remains complicated by ongoing speculation about his future at Leverkusen, and a bench role represents a cautious first step in his return to competitive action.
