Est. Return 8/23/2025
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Foden struggled to replicate his 2023/24 season, seeing his minutes and overall production decline last campaign. He struggled to return to fitness after Euro 2024 and that was just the start of it. He finished with seven goals and two assists, a far cry from his 27 goal contributions the prior season. Despite playing for City, he may be one of the more speculative fantasy plays entering the new season. His upside can only be matched by some, but given the new additions to the squad and his eventual benching last season, he has a wide range of outcomes in 2025/26.

Not on team sheet
Foden (ankle) is out for Saturday's match against Wolves.
ANALYSIS
Foden was deemed fit for the opener but must be taking a cautious route in his return from an ankle injury, as he is still out for their opener. This is a bit surprising, as he is a quality player when at his best, usually earning at least a bench spot. He will now look to next week for a return and to see the field, although he is battling his way through a midfield that has tons of talent after a few summer signings.
