An already-dreadful Buccaneers team took a major blow last week when they lost arguably the best player on their team in Doug Martin to a torn labrum in his shoulder. While the Tampa staff is hopeful their Pro Bowl running back will return this season, they will certainly be without him in this tough matchup. Rookie sixth-round pick Mike James stepped into extensive action last week once Martin went down and figures to continue carrying the load as long as the Bucs don't bring in veteran assistance. James does have size and decent speed, but he's still a considerable downgrade. Versus a stout Panthers front seven limiting opponents to just 84.5 rushing yards per game, expect Mike Glennon's arm to get plenty of work.
