Stekelenburg conceded one goal and made two saves in the 1-0 home loss to Stoke City on Saturday.

Excellent movement of the ball, from Stoke, caught the Saints’ defense off guard and the Dutch couldn’t react to the Bojan’s flick. He made two great saves later on, though, to keep his team in contention to the end. Next up is a visit to the Etihad where things could get ugly for him against the wounded Citizens.

Stekelenburg made three saves while keeping a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Sunderland.

This was Stekelenburg's second-straight clean sheet after posting one against Bournemouth last week. He's now kept five clean sheets in 11 Premier League matches this season and has conceded just 11 total goals. While the 33-year-old may not be the first keeper one thinks of, the long-time Ajax goalie still has plenty of gas left in the tank. He'll look to make it three-in-a-row when the Saints take on Stoke City after the international break.

Stekelenburg conceded one goal and made one save in Southampton draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

Christian Benteke’s ruthless header left no chance for Stekelenburg to make a save. Other than that he wasn’t really tested as Liverpool’s possession never developed into danger situations. Saints’ defense has been far from their best but next week they have a great match-up hosting the Cherries and the Dutch is due for a clean sheet.

Stekelenberg (back) is starting Sunday against Liverpool.

Stekelenberg missed last weekend's match due to the ailment, but his return will push Kelvin Davis back to the bench. It's not an ideal matchup from a fantasy perspective, though Liverpool are without Daniel Sturridge (knee) and Christian Benteke is on the bench, with Divock Origi leading the line.

Stelekenberg missed last weekend's match due to the ailment, allowing Kelvin Davis to start in his place, but his return to fitness likely means he'll start at Anfield.

Stekelenberg is not in the 18-man squad to face Leicester City on Saturday.

It is unclear if Stekelenberg suffered an injury or simply got dropped, but Kelvin Davis will get the start Saturday in Stekelenberg's place.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stekelenburg made two saves and conceded one goal in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Chelsea.

Stekelenburg was powerless on Willian's 10th minute free kick blast and from there, kept a clean sheet. He wasn't tested particularly often, with Southampton conceding just 10 total shots and only three of them coming on net. Stekelenburg hasn't been great this season, but he's been good enough to keep Southampton in the top half of the table. They'll try to make it three Premier League victories in a row with their clash against Leicester City after the international break.
