Stekelenburg made two saves and conceded one goal in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Chelsea.

Stekelenburg was powerless on Willian's 10th minute free kick blast and from there, kept a clean sheet. He wasn't tested particularly often, with Southampton conceding just 10 total shots and only three of them coming on net. Stekelenburg hasn't been great this season, but he's been good enough to keep Southampton in the top half of the table. They'll try to make it three Premier League victories in a row with their clash against Leicester City after the international break.

While the clean sheet potential is a bit tough playing away to Crystal Palace, Aleksandar Kolarov continues to dominant the peripheral stats, keeping his fantasy value high.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stekelenburg made no saves while conceding three goals in Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United.

Stekelenburg needed to make just two saves en route to recording three consecutive clean sheets prior to this game against Watford, Norwich City and West Brom. However, with a big step up in weight class, Stekelenburg was unable to make a save. His defense is typically pretty stout, but Maya Yoshida and Jose Fonte each made goal inducing mistakes. Stekelenburg will look to bounce back against Swansea in the Premier League next weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stekelenburg had a relatively easy day at the office on Saturday, as he had to make just one save en route to a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw to Southampton.

That is now three straight clean sheets for the Dutch international and the amazing part is that he's only made two saves in those three matches. That tells us that Southampton have one of the best defenses in the Premier League and that Stekelenburg should be a reliable source of clean sheets for the remainder of the season. If saves are highly valued in your fantasy format, it may be better to steer clear of Stekelenburg. He'll look to keep the streak going against Manchester United next Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stekelenburg made one save while recording a clean sheet in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Norwich City.

Stekelenburg saw his first shot on target come in stoppage time, but was mostly untroubled as the 10-man Norwich City couldn't mount much of an attack. Despite the slow start for the Saints, Stekelenburg now has two clean sheets in a row. After the international break, he'll look to make it three in a row when they take on West Brom.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stekelenburg did not make a save while recording a clean sheet in Sunday's scoreless draw against Watford.

Stekelenburg wasn't tested all afternoon en route to recording his first Premier League clean sheet since December 8, 2013 when Fulham defeated Aston Villa 2-0. He's conceded five goals in his first two games and will need to be better to help Southampton win their first match of the year. He'll get another chance to notch his first victory of the season in league play next weekend against Norwich City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Steklenburg conceded three goals and made just one save in a 3-0 loss to Everton on Saturday.

It was a tough day for Southampton, as Everton were clearly in a feisty mood. It was counter-attack goals that were killing Southampton and the defense will need to do a batter job of getting back if they want to help their goalie. Steklenburg didn't make any egregious errors, but he wasn't his sharpest by any means. He'll look to bounce back against Watford next Sunday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stekelenburg has joined Southampton on loan for the 2015/16 season, Fulham confirmed Monday.

Stekelenburg spent last season on loan at Monaco, but he has a chance to start at Southampton at the beginning of the season, as Fraser Forster is expected to miss most of the term with a knee injury. Paulo Gazzaniga and Kelvin Davis will be his likeliest competition.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stekelenburg has joined AS Monaco on loan for the 2014-15 season from Fulham.

Stekelenburg joined Fulham last season after a run at Roma, but he was quite disappointing and was unable to get the Cottagers out of relegation. The move to Monaco is a big upgrade, going from the Championship to the Champions League.
