Nick Maton News: Back in majors

The White Sox selected Maton's contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.

After losing his spot on the White Sox's 40-man roster in late April, Maton decided to accept an outright assignment to Triple-A rather than electing free agency, and the decision has paid off, as he's already back in the big leagues. The utility player produced a .622 OPS in 23 games earlier this season with the White Sox.
