Nick Maton News: Loses roster spot

Maton was designated for assignment by the White Sox on Saturday.

This will mark the second time in the last two weeks that Maton has lost his spot on the 40-man roster. This move could prove to be more permanent, as Tim Elko's contract was selected in the corresponding move. Across 63 plate appearances this season, Maton has hit just .167/.286/.315.
