2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hamilton, who has been with six different organizations since he was drafted in the 11th round by the White Sox in 2016, appears to have finally found a home with the Yankees. After inking a minor-league deal with New York last February, the 28-year-old stuck around after spring training and earned a quick promotion to the big leagues in early April. The right-hander made 39 appearances, 22 of which were multi-inning outings, while showcasing his impressive slider (.156 BA, 42.5 percent whiff) en route to a 2.64 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 69:26 K:BB ratio over 58 innings. Most of Hamilton's Statcast metrics were well above average save for his 10.9 percent walk rate (18th percentile), but his breakout season was halted by a two separate groin strains that required trips to the IL.
