Yahoo DFS Basketball: Friday-Saturday Picks

The NBA has conference finals elimination games Friday and Saturday. This could be the last multi-game DFS opportunity this NBA season.

GUARD

Kyle Lowry, TOR vs CLE ($43) - Lowry has averaged almost 50 fantasy points in his last three home games, vs. only 20 fantasy points in his last three home games. Friday he has another home game, and it's win or go home for the Raptors, so he should produce.

Andre Roberson, OKC vs GS ($13) - Roberson has really come into his own in these playoffs, and he's playing a large, consistent role for the Thunder as a hustle 3-and-D guy. He has three straight games with more than 20 fantasy points, including a massive 50.4 fantasy points explosion in his last home game.

Guards to Avoid:

Kyrie Irving, CLE at TOR ($36) - Irving is in this spot by default, because Lowry projects as a great play at home while Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry are always good plays if you can afford them. Irving was strong in his last game in Toronto (38.1 fantasy points), but he only scored 18.8 fantasy points in the first game in Toronto, so his output for Game 6 is harder to predict.

J.R. Smith, CLE at TOR ($17) - Smith can explode at any time, such as his 33-point fantasy performance in Game 3, but he has been silent much more regularly lately. In his last seven games, he has only scored more than 22 fantasy points once, while he has five games scoring in the teens of fantasy points.

FORWARD

LeBron James, CLE at TOR ($51) - LeBron or Kevin Durant could go in this spot. Both will be ultra-motivated to close out their opponents in Game 6, and both shape up to have massive games.

Serge Ibaka, OKC vs GS ($23) - Draymond Green is another great candidate, as the Warriors face elimination. But Ibaka has played solid ball this series, averaging almost 30 fantasy points in his last three games, and he is at home, which should help with his comfort level.

Forwards to Avoid:

Harrison Barnes, GS at OKC ($18) - Barnes has yet to score more than 26 fantasy points in any game this postseason, and in his last three games he has averaged less than 13 fantasy points.

Kevin Love, CLE at TOR ($32) - Love is coming off of a good performance in Game 5 and should be motivated to produce in a close-out Game 6. But in his last two games in Toronto he has struggled, averaging only 18 fantasy points and battling a broken shot and injuries.

CENTER
Steven Adams, OKC vs GS ($21) - Adams has been the most effective big man for the Thunder throughout the playoffs, and he remains a nightly double-double threat who is playing at home.

Center to Avoid:

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR vs CLE ($24) - Valanciunas made his return, but played only 18 minutes in his first game back. That could ramp up, but in addition to getting back in shape he is also dealing with Bismack Biyombo, who has played well enough that he will see his share of court time and eat into Valanciunas' minutes.
