Mavericks Slaughter Suns in Game 7, 123-90
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the host Phoenix Suns, 123-90, in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals at Footprint Center on Sunday.

This gives Dallas a 4-3 series win. They'll play the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. That seven-game series will start on Wednesday.

A 27-17 first quarter set the foundation for Dallas in this victory, winning in wire-to-wire fashion. They actually led by 30 points at the half behind a 30-10 second quarter and put the game to bed behind a 35-23 third quarter. The Mavericks got their lead up to 46 points at times, leading by at least 30 points for the entirety of the second half. Dallas shot 57 percent from the field, 49 percent from three-point range and 100 percent from the free-throw line while Phoenix shot 38 percent fron the field, 35 percent from long range and 67 percent from the charity stripe. The Mavs also had three players score at least 23 points while the Suns had no one crack 12 points.

The Mavericks (4-3) were led by Luka Doncic, tallying 35 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals. Jalen Brunson collected 24 points, six rebounds and two assists. Spencer Dinwiddie led the bench with 30 points, three rebounds and two assists. Those three combined to shoot 34-of-51 from the field. No other player had more than six points, five rebounds or four assists.

The Suns (3-4) were led by Cameron Johnson, providing 12 points, five rebounds and two assists off the bench. Devin Booker led the starters with 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists on 3-of-14 from the field. Chris Paul compiled 10 points and four assists, while Deandre Ayton amassed five points, four rebounds and two assists.
