Miles McBride

Despite a strong end to the 2023-24 season, McBride struggled to find a consistent role. However, that could change with Donte DiVincenzo no longer in the picture. The Knicks battled late-season injuries last year, forcing McBride to step up and start nine consecutive games in Jalen Brunson's absence. McBride tallied at least 20 points on four separate occasions over the final month, providing managers with a glimpse of what is possible. When considering the season as a whole, McBride's output was modest, at best, ending as the 242nd-ranked player in standard formats. Not only will the Knicks be healthy heading into the 2024-25 season, but they also added Mikal Bridges, re-signed OG Anunoby and acquired Karl-Anthony Towns in exchange for Julius Randle and DiVincenzo. McBride should be able to hold onto a spot in the rotation but could very well top out at about 18 minutes per game. He is someone to keep an eye on, just in case Tom Thibodeau's tendency to run his starters into the ground results in injuries once again. If and when that time comes, McBride could very well step into a larger role, much like he did down the stretch last year. Read Past Outlooks
