1. The Nuggets are poised to make some noise
After taking care of the Bucks before the All-Star break, the Nuggets sit at 32-26, tied with Portland for sixth place in the West. Theyíre 7-3 over their last ten contests, including wins over San Antonio, Golden State and Oklahoma City.
Letís assume the Nuggets stay right where they are and draw the Spurs in Round 1. Denver is 1-2 against San Antonio thus far, but in the first two games the Nuggets were battling injuries at multiple positions.
