Tunnicliff made his maiden European PGA Tour title an emotional one Sunday, winning the Great North Open a month after his mother's death.
ANALYSIS
Tunnicliff carded a 3-under-par 69 to pull away from German Sven Struver at De Vere Slaley Hall. He began the day in a tie for the lead with Struver and fellow Englishman David Gilford but won by four shots at 9-under 279.
