My Portfolio

I've drafted six leagues over the last couple months, and figured I'd put them up side by side to see how the portfolio looks as a whole. As you'll see there's a lot of overlap, and that's by design - both because I like the guys I like, and because it's far better to have a big stake in a few players than a small stake in everyone in the entire league - in which case, you're always rooting for and against everyone. Here are my teams:

One thing you might notice is that I picked a wide receiver first in all six leagues! That wasn't necessarily by design, but in part based on where I slotted and what the league format was. Had I ever drawn the first pick in a non-PPR, I would have gone with Adrian Peterson, in my opinion, the only truly reliable running back on the board.

Not all leagues are of the same depth (the number to the right in the "style" column is the number of teams in the league). Here are my most commonly owned players:

Pierre Thomas (4)
Calvin Johnson (3)
Larry Johnson (3)
Braylon Edwards (3)
Ahmad Bradshaw (3)
Kellen Winslow (3)
Steve Smith (NYG) (3)
Jeremy Maclin (3)
Miles Austin (3)
Garrett Hartley! (3)
Larry Fitzgerald (2)
Randy Moss (2)
Antonio Gates (2)
Matt Schaub (2)
Knowshon Moreno (2)
Greg Olsen (2)
Ray Rice (2)
Rashard Mendenhall (2)
Laurence Maroney (2)
Matt Leinart (2)
Devin Thomas (2)
Robert Meachem (2)
Nate Kaeding (2)

Conversely, in six leagues, I did not draft Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Maurice Jones-Drew, Steve Slaton, Michael Turner, DeAngelo Williams, Steven Jackson, Chris Johnson, Frank Gore, LaDainian Tomlinson, Marion Barber, Clinton Portis, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers.

That's hard to do.
