The Intelligence of Randy Moss and Tom Brady

Insightful commentary by Bill Belichick about why Moss and Brady are all-time greats. Also, my favorite player, Lawrence Taylor, and Emmitt Smith. (h/t Scott Pianowski).

Interesting thing is Moss' teammates and coaches told Belichick as much before the Pats traded for him... Goes to show how wrong the conventional wisdom was about Moss, and what a no brainer it was for the Pats to get him. The idea that a certain guy is a problem or doesn't give full effort (Moss, Cedric Benson, etc.) is usually something the media blows out of proportion and rarely accurate. I'd expect Braylon Edwards to be fine in NY, and I wouldn't believe the negative hype about too many other players, either.
